looking forward to fall

So, I've been in denial that the summer is over. It's so hard saying goodbye to all of the things that I love so much until next year: lobster rolls, dining al fresco, bright colors, gourmet ice cream, easy breezy dresses...of course, this list could go on and on.

To help me get past the pain, I'm focusing on what I look forward to this fall. Such as:

Deep, bold nail polish colors!

I'll definitely pull out my trusty Wicked by Essie nail polish, but I'm also looking forward to playing around with deep blues and greens too. I've been eyeing this midnight blue color called High Waisted by Ginger + Liz.

Vampy lips!

Have you seen Nars' latest shimmery, burgundy  lipgloss called Rouge Tribal? It looks so rich and sexy- I can't wait to hit the streets in my deep red, purple and plum lip colors. I'm definitely gonna try this one too.

Booties!

I love the ease of summertime dressing but my mind wanders towards fall clothing once Labor Day passes.  I've already worn a bit of leather and a sweater or two this month, but I've been holding on tight to my sandals. I think that these funky leopard print boots (the Old Town Boot) from Madewell might help me embrace the chillier weather coming our way. What do you think?
