The Mister and I had a Friday night date night at Melba's (read: delicious soul food and strong drinks) and then spent the remainder with my niece and nephew. I had a kid-friendly weekend that involved burgers, chocolate chip cookies and a visit to the American Museum of Natural History. Junk food and dinosaur fossils sum up this three-day weekend. It was unseasonably warm and definitely the perfect weather for hanging out in this city with two energetic kids.
